The Confident Parent course
When parents grow, children thrive

You’re invited to join us for The Confident Parent Course

This course supports parents and carers to grow their confidence in parenting and supporting children and young people's wellbeing.

Facilitated by Steve Dinning from Anglicare, and Justine Jenner our Anglican Churches Springwood Pastoral Worker. It will be a relaxed environment to learn with other parents.
Monday July 28, 4th, 11th and 18th of August. 7-9pm. The Factory.

The Confident Parent Course presents a paradigm shift away from focusing on children to focusing on what is within a parent’s capacity. This includes focusing on what is within parents’ control, holding boundaries and parenting by principles to regain confidence.

The course uses video content and opportunities for questions and discussion. A workbook is included to help parents reflect and apply the ideas.

It’s also suitable for grandparents and other adults who have a significant role in a child or young person’s life.

$40 per couple, $30 for one person. This covers all course materials and supper each evening.

If you have any questions, please contact Justine Jenner.

Please note that no childcare is offered. We encourage you to come together as a couple and organise a babysitter, or you can get a single ticket for one parent or guardian to attend.
