Ablaze is a space to focus on the issues unique and relevant to the Baby Boomer generation (55–75 years) and to consider how to make the most of the rest of your life.

Graciousness and faithfulness in a ‘woke’ culture

‘Woke’ is a word that has come into our language with a vague and changing meaning, used both positively and negatively. It refers to being awake or aware, in a committed way, to various social issues/injustices. While Christians should be concerned about any injustice, being ‘woke’, in practice often means pressure to affirm what we believe is contrary to God’s word. This event will help us to consider: How do we remain loving, respectful, and tolerant while being faithful to what God has revealed is best for human flourishing? There will be a particular focus on gender and sexuality.
